always seems to be this trainer card threads could use some background for the choices so:
bulbasaur was first starter and first bro, in X i caught a shiny ivysaur in friend safari (my second shiny ever) and it's now a venusaur i sometime use competitively (not the best but still pretty good and fun!). like bulbasaur so much tho that i bred for a shiny one and now have a shiny female bulbasaur to keep my original shinysaur company!
mime jr is my favorite pokemon period, and i'm starting to breed for a shiny one so that's the goal.
linoone is a bro (hoennfag here) and simisage grew really fast on my since black and white, always liked the idea of a big personality simisage for the anime or something (swagsage ftw).
finally Lumia, my first shiny ever! a couple of weeks before X and Y came out i was bummed because i read the rumours about increased shiny rates and i didn't want my first one to be "stained" like that then randomly while playing sapphire for the 100th time BOOM! also amazing how that changed my view of illumise, a discartable mon it's now one of my favorites and that's crazy to think about.
