I never got this complaint unless it was referring to DP. The only fire types missing from Platinum are starters and legendaries, although a few of them are post game only.

The only place Unova is overrated is here. Everywhere else it's shit on.

Sinnoh is the most overrated region. Just accept it. That generation's sole redeeming factor is PMD: Sky.

That's exactly what it's referring too. The point is that it shouldn't have been something that was fixed in Pt, it should never have been an issue at all. They just arbitrarily restricted the Pokédex in DP even when they had a myriad of usable Fire-types they could have made available.
Honestly though DP are shit games all around. It's a good thing they didn't pull an XY and not give them a third version, otherwise the Sinnoh games would be the worst in the series.

XY have a crap story, crap trainers, crap rivals and a shitty champion

RS have a lot problems in the main game like the rivals, the golas of the villians teams, the shitty MT like rock smash or flash That must be used in the VICTORY ROAD and the half of Hoenn is sea, sea and more sea
