It's not about being able to play in public, it's about having the game with you so that you can interact with people you meet who have the game. Just because you don't get out much doesn't mean everyone else doesn't. Hell, I saw two people playing SM on the bus on the way to work last week and regretted not having mine with me.

Maybe you are just waiting for comfirmation, which makes sense but to say that they are going to pump out for DS games is just stupid.

Wii U had horrible sales compared to the other major consoles but their handheld consoles are their main seller. They are are planning on one console now than one handheld and one home console. Thats why switch is so great because its both.

You would have to be retarded to think they aren't bringing Pokemon forward with the company.

It's not that the 3DS is holding them back. It's that GF are dumb as a sack of rocks.
They could have made it look like Battle Revolution on the 3DS as many better looking games on the system have shown us but they chose not to in order to save time with later games.

Basically GF have stopped caring about the games.

Here's the thing about Gamefreak: They've NEVER been competent at making video games. They're a third-rate development company that happened to come up with a concept good enough to carry an entire franchise, regardless of the games' actual quality.

I mean, fuck, they've just been recycling Red and Blue every generation since. Almost any other company would have moved away from the Badge Collecting thing at some point in the last two decades. It's not integral to what Pokemon is and never was. It was a shitty excuse plot that made sense on a console as limited as the Game Boy, but they just kept doing it because Pokemon's concept is strong enough that it doesn't matter what the games are about.

The games even have an option to use clothes from another player, so they could have very, very easily given you can option to get other version clothes from your friends if you really wanted a specific shirt. There was no fucking reason for the clothes to be completely version exclusive.

That's just normal though. Men's fashion is garbage. Meanwhile you can stick Annabel in a suit and have one of the hottest characters in the game.
