I just started to play Sun & Moon because I'm so busy~ and I'm just wondering if this thing is decent enough to be a main water type? And if not, who?

He's alright. Hits like a truck, but since leftovers is hard to get, he can't really heal himself so you need to use them potions

He's strong, but he's too slow to avoid taking hits, and you need to keep his health high Give him a Sitrus Berry. You can get plenty more at Pelago.

Actually OP, as soon as you get Tauros back track to beneath Iki Town, break some rocks and catch a Munchlax, it'll always be holding Leftovers. May take a little while to find Munchlax though.
