They said the other stones, Mawilite and Beedrilite included, will be distributed through codes. The partecipants will get them early but once the code comes out everyone will be able to get them

Events used to be for shitty mythics or meme moves, now it's for an important gameplay element that we used to be avaliable right ou of the box.

All the first three are available regularly in the game and you get a Diancite in-game just for having a Diancie when you enter a Pokemon Center

The subject is ORAS, not XY. Even then, something originally being an event is completely different from something you could get no problem in-game being relagated to special distros.

This is false equivalency:

-Blazikenite was avaliable for anyone since day 1, be it trading or mystery gift, unlike all the currently unavaliable megas
-we never lost anything as Blazikenite didn't exist in gen 5
