STAB for non-damaging/status moves?

So, just a thought I had when I noticed Rock Polish and Agility were the same: should non-damaging and status moves have STAB effects?

Like maybe Rock Polish and Agility only boost Speed by 1 stage if the user isn't Rock or Psychic respectively? Or maybe it also grants 1 stage of evasion?

Accuracy boost would be nice. Like +10% to every move. Would benefit rocktypes a lot.

Another friend of mine similarly suggested Toxic only Badly Poisons when used by a non-poison type.

I can kind of understand since literally everything can learn toxic.

there is something wrong with this

Also, Toxic technically gets poison buff as it gets No Guard mechanics when used by a Poison-type
