Say what you will about the 5th Generation, but it has the best soundtrack of any Pokemon game, hands down.

Only the tracks composed by Go Ichinose or Hitomi Sato. Seriously Shota Kageyama is bland as fuck.

SM and DP/Pt have better soundtracks for me.

I only remember it for the good minor legendary trio theme and how shit their plasma theme, wild encounter and trainer battle themes were. Which makes it the most forgettable for me, perhaps tied with Gen 6.

I honestly think the majority of gen 4's music was incredibly bland. Gen 7 a bit less so, but kind of the same as well.
