I like my Pokemon games to be colorful and modern. If it looked like that, I'd be rather playing Final Fantasy.

This is underwhelming to have come from the Bravely Team. I do like that PS1 era 2D is rich in color but the backgrounds have more love than the characters.

No looks like shit, the world looks nice but it's just 3d objects with a 2d texture. The characters look really jarring and the sprites aren't even that good.
