Friendly reminder that we only got cross gen evos in Gen 2, Gen 3, and Gen 4 because they all took place in PokeJapan.

We got one cross gen evo in Gen 6 because Eevee is native to Kalos.

We'll get cross gen evos for Gen 6 pokemon in Gen 8 because the region will be PokeSpain in PokeEurope.

It’s be nice to see cross gen evos again but I doubt it, the eviolite killed that idea.

I don't think eviolite is any real grounds for not introducing cross gen evos considering they added it in well after there have already been NFE pokemon that massively benefit from it.

Or I dunno maybe. It's gamefreak so they probably didn't care then and use it as an excuse now.

We only got sylveon to showcase fairy types, eevee is native to Unova too, yet there is no eeveelution.
Alola is also an american state turned into a region, yet there is no cross gen evo.
We won't get cross gen evos again bc people complained about it saying that "it's a lazy idea".
Even if gen 8 is in europe we won't get any cross gen evo or anything related to Kalos since we all know Kanto is the primary source for pandering, Kalos just exists as a lame reminder that there won't be any decent game again.

Like, if they strike the perfect balance of new evos/pre-evos and completely new Pokemon, it'd be perfect. There should be more completely new Pokemon than new evos/pre-evos, though.

Eevee is a non-native species. They're released pets.

Hawaii is a Polynesian island. It is not in the Americas.
