in terms of what? One's story only makes sense in SM and is more of a walking plot device you escort around and the other is the professor's assistant and barely does much at all. You can't play as Lillie and all of the player-controlled protags act the same exact way

Just because YOU are tainted by nostalgia doesn't mean everyone is.

Lillie is shit and Dawn isn't. Nostalgia has nothing to do with it. I was an adult for both. If anything nostalgia should hit me for Misty. it doesn't.

Ironically, my mother had an issue with them changing her (though again, not nostalgia she liked Misty better) but I didn't give a fuck.
