I guess they were testing the strength of the pikachu ip without the rest of the franchise behind it, and i'm sure just by the lack of anything of this game anywhere, it failed hard. People like pikachu because he is a pokemon, not because he is a dumb electric anime rat.

It's mind-numbingly simple, and feels like a movie tie-in game (which it is, I guess). There's not much to discuss, this game is no Grim Fandango or Ace Attorney.

I did. Just digitally originally because I don't care so much about the side games.

Only played the first chapter so far because I've got other shit to play, but that alone convinced me to pick up a physical copy too. And the Amiibo too since it happened to still be in stock (apparently they'd only gotten three in, there were two still on the shelf when I got mine, lol) doesn't look as shit as most.
