It is looking like I won’t have to buy a Switch until late 2019. Feels bad.

China based region in semi-open world

108 new pokemon, maybe a dragon eeveelution, but the rest new pokemon with a lot of unusual types. Just 5 legendaries

Finally Nintendo takes creative control and hires more staff to give us a game to match this generation of video games. GF still has an important opinion in the decisions, but regarding the technical section Nintendo does not skimp on resources.

Nothing in particular, but I definitely would like to see a more open map; something similar to Emerald or DP

My personal favorite designs come from Gens II and VI because I feel these designs in particular give a certain trademark aesthetic to the Pokémon universe. AlsoI would like to see some creative typings and inspirations, and fewer legendaries

That Nintendo/GameFreak will stop adding new battle mechanics to the games (I didn't care for the mega evolutions or z-moves). I would instead prefer to see improvements made to existing battle mechanics, maybe make IV breeding easier (it's something I've personally never been able to perfect), and definitely a focus on in-game content, specifically post-game.
