Do any of you work doing games around here?
The company already has the experience and the models for the games, they have the employees, the name, the popularity. They have everything any studio might need for a great title, even the money.
Why is it so hard for them to add non-recycled content to these games? Everything looks the same, it doesn't look like they added anything new and engaging, nor interesting quests. I've been a pokemon fan since I was 10 years old. My first game was yellow and I became super excited by these but they are disappointing. I'm not gonna lie. and I'm a huge kantofag.
What do they need to make a good game? Is it their writers? Or their 3d modelers which are too expensive? Why are they obviously failing at this one? Because I imagine they do have the money, unless they save that to develop the next gen consoles.
I don't understand why they can't make great stuff like zelda (not saying they should copy the style but holy fuck zelda's player engagement is excelent)
What is the thing they are lacking? Asking mostly game-devs if there is one around here.
It's really obvious that for a game to not die they have to innovate. But, why is it that they do this with their consoles but not their games
