yes speed needs to be less important but this would just completely invalidate it to an outrageous extent. a trick room extender would be a better step in the right direction.

It would be way too overpowered. Now something like the Heat/Damp/Icy/Smooth Rocks would actually be viable, especially since you would have to choose between that and Mental Herb

For what it's worth, in BSS, the official singles format on cart, where games regularly go under 10 turns, Trick Room doesn't really need any help. There are more than a few regular streamers who one-trick suropoke to 2k every season.

i would have given it to a mega Mesprit or something. Or maybe just as a hidden abilitiy to regular mesprit. After the Tapu got their abilities, it would make senseto have stuff like that for the lake trio, and Mesprit is the slowest among them.
