We all remember the old games because of the sudden difficulty spikes (the infamous Whitney battle), the ambiguous sprites that made you imagine weird shit, the rumors, exploring confusing caves and the piss-easy-but-still-made-you-put-two-neurons-together difficulty that made the game engaging and at least forced you to pay attention to it. That's why we still remember these games and have nostalgia for them.

This soulless piece of shit will be forgotten in a few months by the poor kids that had the misfortune of WASTING their precious time with it. The original games were simple entertainment for kids, but these pieces of shit are junk food for the mind. I woudn't want my kids to play this patronizing crap, I'd genuinely fear for their brain cells.

The previous games were all good in their own way. Love them or hate them, they all had redeeming factors. LGPE does not. It somehow manages to have fewer features than the game it's based on thanks to the removal of the Game Corner and Safari Zone, and it's also inferior to the game whose assets it nearly completely copied namely USUM and SM.

There's no reason to play these games other than 'member pikachu? i member pikachu hehe'

as much as i dislike what happened with the battle frontier or lack thereof, it hasn't tarnished my ability to like oras as much as i did back when it came out
sm was shit two years ago, it's still shit now and it's going to be shit in two years, and i can assure you that my opinion on lgpe will be similar, if not more negative

I know for a fact at least one of them was. When I answered it had almost 80% "No" with nearly 100 votes.

Like 3 seconds after I got to the results page I watched it count up over the next 50 seconds or so to be 69% "Yes".

That was obviously pure fucking memery bullshit. Especially considering the thread had been up about 4 hours when I got there that day and hadn't been posted in for a couple of them until I did so after seeing that.
