It also means that there won't be that many (ii there are any at all) Kanto Pokemon in Gen 8 because they will force players to buy that garbage if they wanted their Pikachu and Charizard
Since we're also close to Sinnoh remakes there won't be that many Gen 4 Pokemon as well which means some Gen 2 Pokemon won't be available and they usually gate recent previous generation Pokemon so that means Alola mons won't be available
That means most of the Gen 8 Pokedex will either be a) more than Alola and Kalos combined but nowhere near Unova or Hoenn or b) Gen 8 Pokedex will be shored up by Johto, Hoenn, Unova and Kalos Pokemon
