Information regarding the upcoming Pokemon game. I ,and colleagues, during a corporate tour were shown certain information pertaining to pokemon Sword and Shield.


1* The starters are each based on Music.Football.Theater.

2* The grass starter pokemon's final evolution is a symphony conductor and has a sort of tuxedo with a tail made of leafs . Tail as in the tail of a tuxedo,not an animal tail.

3* The fire starter is a footballer (a colleague asked if the secondary type was electric and the two men showing us the art started laughing. so i assume not) . His overall style seems very much like a steel type,his ears although seem to have fur it looks very polished and metal like,so does most of his body which retains the same color scheme as his starter form.

4* The water starter is based on theater and an actors ability to disappear into a role. The final form is very slender and thin with a darker blue color whilst its tail is a vibrant yellow chameleon spiral design. It seems to be a dragon,its face is a combination of determination and sadness.

5* The map given to the public is not representative of the size of the actual game. Especially a forest area we were shown a demonstration of was massive.

6* The designers love the interest given to the Scottish female playable character and never expected such attention to such a minute detail they hadn't even put much thought into.

7* Players will be able to visit the Kalos region,only unexplored areas in the north that weren't shown in the X & Y games. We were not told if later on they would add any more parts of the region

8* We were not shown any other pokemon besides the starters.
