Type: Null was weird at first but I grew to like it. Silvally on the other hand is a cool name but lore wise is kinda dumb. Gladion gave it the name Silvally (even calling it that as a Type: Null in the anime) so it’s technically a nickname and not the species name. Also the only thing different from Type: Null and Silvally is the Helmet. When it “evolves” it justs smashes the helmet off and boom, it’s a new Pokémon. it’s a cool Pokémon but the lore vs the game mechanics don’t add up.

Type: Null is a cool name because it is a manmade pokemon that was treated badly in a laboratory. It's not a name a taxonomist would give to an animal they found in nature, it's a name a cientist would give to a project.

On the other side, Noibat's German name eF-eM is idiotic in every aspect.

Imagine if Type:Null was classified as typeless, so everything dealt neutral damage

It wouldn't amount to much but it'd be a neat touch that fits with the name
