>>38751270Normally, I’d agree with you but the thing is that they gave Mega evolutions to the gen 3 and the gen 1 starters. They know that the remaining starters need something to put them on the same level stat wise as the ones that got megas. Otherwise if you make some starters objectively better than the others that takes away the ability of players to pick their favorite starters or the ones from their starting generation and use it to win serious battles.
The easiest way for them to do this would be to give all starters megas. So, even if no more non-starter megas get introduced, I at least expect all of the starters to get some kind of mega or armor evolution (if that’s real) to put them on the same level as the others.
