>>38937136Im not saying it shouldn't be a little childish. Children are the target demographic. but Gens 1-5 were simple enough for children to understand while remaining enjoyable for adults. Pokemon games had a very different vibe and atmosphere from the anime. They were aimed at a slightly older audience. Now the games and anime have the same feel and tone. Its fine to like it, but its lost the "soul" for a lack of a better word that I loved.
