I wouldn't be surprised if this game was as poorly scripted as Sun and Moon. Seriously they have 16 individual Lillie models for each scene she's in. So each Dynamax is probably 5 different Pokemon models.

i can see it being 5 different size dynamaxs, one for each size is goes through in the cutscene.

Also with Torkoal basically the smoke is an effect, but they have a less detailed smoke cloud modeled to help mark shit and because you'll never see it since the smoke effect is always on.

You're making it sound like they should have put the models off-screen and had them actually reflect onto the mirror. Or have them off-screen and fix the flat surfaces to display a camerapoint focused at the characters who are far off-screen.

For a still shot that doesn't move, this is how most developers would do this shot.

No wonder they say that they're sacrificing pokemons for graphics. With the moving camera they can no longer get away with 2D graphics, at least not on wild areas
Considering Creatures are the ones making the pokemon models, this is probably GF's first time using 3D graphics
