You know
Not bother with dynamaxing and just think of a less resources heavy gimmick, or expand on old gimmics instead.
Instead they go for something that hardly seems to change the dynamic of the fight in regular battles. Oh wow, you are now big, all attacks are big, but you go against another big guy so whatever, it's the same. Should have only been a raid thing with no dynamaxing on players' side, just 4 or so players against a hp sponge that can also put shields.
I don't know, I just fail to understand how that gimmick improves or changes anything in the dynamic of normal battles, I can only assume they wanted something super impressive looking since Switch can handle it, but along the way lost themselves trying to actually implement it + wasted time remaking models for no reason
I can't comprehend their decisions.
