I just love all these twitter posts blowing up defending the devs when they're called lazy.
It's incredible being called an entitled crybaby for stating a real criticism to a muti-billion dollar franchise.
I've paid for Bank since 2014 but I should just shut up and just consume the slop of a game up because otherwise I'm being a bad fan right guys...

Pokemon Bank is still 5 dollars a year even right now. Yet you can't even bring a lot of those bros over so fuck you and just consume.

The idea of a "bad fan" in the first place is hysterical. As if it is not the obligation of the producer to make a good product, it is the obligation of the consumer to buy any garbage the producer puts out. Just how much of a bootlicker can you even be?

Clearly I'm being sarcastic, I don't buy things just because I'm a big fan. I didn't get Ultra or Let's Go because they were cash grabs, I won't be getting swsh either sadly.
It's just a shame that fans can't state criticism to the masses without people trying to defend for no good reason or twisting the argument.

You're not alone. Long term fans that have bought every gen and every third version since Red, and who have a Bank subscription, and who got to 40$ VGC events are the ones angry about the national dex. Meanwhile the people saying "it's fine, why are you complaining" are the transients that might buy one game every decade. There is eventually going to be a tipping point where enough of the money stops buying games (I already did after USUM) and stops going to events that GameFreak realizes they're actually going to have to make a good game again. keep in mind these same things were said about Blizzard for years until just last week they finally released WoW Classic. When the sales drop GF will make a good Pokemon game again.

If they come out with Ultra Sword next year and it has the full pokedex (which you'll have to buy if you want to go to VGC in 2021) maybe I'll consider it then. If it's still a gimped pokedex where they only add 50 pokemon back, then I'll skip that one too. If they never make a good game again, then I'll just not play Pokemon. I'm at the point in my life where the limited on my gaming isn't quantity of good games, it's time. If no games came out between now and when I die of old age, I could play good games I've never played before between now and then. I don't need games popped out on a Christmas release schedule, I need great games, because otherwise they won't be given my time or my money.

Pokemon bank doesn't have any simple sorting options either does it? For instance, I can't dump in 10 boxes of Pokemon and make it sort them by national dex # automatically can I?
