Find a used Japanese copy, preferably from a Japanese seller on ebay or amazon or some shit. Chinks are way less likely to fake a Japanese cartridge, and there are lots of copies floating around game stores in Japan so it won't be SUPER expensive (hopefully). That's what I did to get a legit SoulSilver a few months back.

Dont buy from china or anything thats too cheap
Check if the circuits on the back match a legit board and if the sticker has a tiny number imprinted on the right side
Also if you buy through ebay, if the listing says its authentic but it isnt you just ask for a refund
