>>40849463>>40850473It could be that in the other version, you have the other halves of the fossils, so dracozolt, for example, has the raptor bottom and the stegosaur top, but is still called dracozolt, and still occupies the same pokedex number because it's treated as a form change. Only with a third version of the game, you'd get to combine all 8 pieces of the fossils, and you get to make the original complete fossilmons, taking up 10 slots of the pokedex in total, 6 of which are form changes.
