>>41881637Essentially, there are a good amount of changes from Sun and US, but the big problem is that these changes are not really integrated into the single-player campaign, they are just kind of added at the end like DLC. For instance, the dialogue in Sun and US is practically identical (pretty much word for word) up until the last couple hours of the story. I think everyone can agree that SuMo were absolutely bloated with boring, shitty dialogue, so USUM is the same shit all over again. Also, the trials are still just as boring/shallow, and they didn't make any real changes to the environment or single-player progression. Basically, it's just a slog for anyone that already played the base versions. Compounded with the fact that we hadn't really had an alternate 3rd version since Platinum, you can see so many people complaining about why it isn't just DLC.
USUM are OK games - just not if you've played the base versions. In that case, they're really fucking boring.
