>>42190031I do think he he ground a little, but also the first like 20 levels a mon gains at the daycare gains them pretty quick in hgss. I dropped off two of my mons when I got there, one level 12 and one level 8. Beat all the trainers from there up to sudowoodo, did the bug contest, came back to the day care and one was 21 and the other was 19. Took the 21 out and put in a 17. Beat whitney, got to ecruteak, came back to get eevee and drop it off and those two were 24 and 21. Took out the 24, put in eevee, fought all the trainers from west of ecruteak all the way up to the lighthouse, did a little grinding in the grass, about 30 mins worth, went back for eevee and it was 21 and the other mon was 27. Brought it to the light house, switch trained, used it with bite (jolly but w/e) against ecruteak gym and had it to 33 when all was said and done before even getting to surf. With only about and hour-thirty of grinding in all that play time.
