The combo you're talking about is a doubles only combo, because you have to use switcheroo and a priority attack on the same turn.

I realize you're just mad at Smogon because they live rent free in your head, but just because something works in doubles doesn't mean it works in singles.

Whimsicott used because it has a large amount of support moves and Prankster, also for some reason they thought it was a good idea to have Tailwind take effect immediatedly, buffing this annoying piece of Cotton even more. Togekiss is the actual cancer though.

Depends on your team. Most people play support with Babiri Berry or offensive with Weakness Policy. You have quite a lot of options in terms of moves, only Follow Me is pretty much mandatory since redirection is broken in doubles.

Just do offensive set with weakness policy and dynamax right away to spam max airstream and get speed boosts. It won't work everytime but hey it'll work most of the time.

Trick/Switcheroo Eject is a dumb fucking strategy (even in doubles) and Whimsicott isn’t using that strategy either.
But let’s assume it wasn’t a shit strategy in doubles either.
You have to have;
>Whimsicott out on the field when your opponent Dynamaxes (as you could pre-maturely switch)
>Make sure your opponent doesn’t have an ability like Sticky Hold or isn’t a Dark type
>Sack your Whinsicott by your own opponent’s hand, leaving you 1 Pokemon down
>Have to have a priority abuser that can’t be cheesed
>You also don’t kill the Pokemon that Dynamax
