Do you collect all th eitems in the games or just the ones you want? I used to be autistic about it and make sure I got every single item in the game, but at some point I realised that like 80% are very specific or just not good enough to be used. It's a waste of time. It helps a lot to just look at some walkthrough to see which items are available in the route you're at and then just take the ones you want.
