Sorry for being pessimistic about it, but there's a tradition of making 2 games at the same time when it comes to Pokémon, and the group was focusing on making only one. Also, this list is HUGE, huge enough to make a parallel version with completely different group of pokes. Not to mention the main line/canon gimmicks, they need to be master programmers for these.
