can we talk about how this completely breaks the balance of the game? all you have to do is run between routes and you can battle these guys endlessly and easily over level your pokemon.

Ultra Sun and Moon are one of the most difficult if not the most difficult Pokemon games they have made, though arguing difficulty in Pokemon is moot point because all you need to do is grind your Pokemon, any Pokemon, to win.

You could say that about nearly any RPG in general, but being able to grind past something just means that the devs gave a crutch for people that aren't good at strategy

It means it can be balanced if you really want it to be. If you used Exp Share, Lati@s etc... you just rushed the game to go to the postgame because you only care about competitive. So why the fucking fuck do you care about the game being balanced?

but that's good. it's literally the same thing as grinding wild pokemon except you achieve the desired lvl faster
also nobody forces you to do this
full exp for switch ins and exp reward for capture is what truly broke levelling, not exp share as believed by many around here

To be fair it requires some shred of strategy beyond the typical braindead NPC battle to beat U-Necro but it’s not like GF gave you all the tools to help. If it were kids we’re talking about that’s fine but I’m fairly certain all the retards on here who post «U-Necro to hard» are unironic zoomers who never played anything else.

The level of the ennemies in gen6 and 7 are way lower than yours when you use Exp Share.
In gen8 they are not.

i'm not the same anon you replied to but when i played sword the only time i found myself over leveled was because i purposefully fed my mons EXP candies if i was trying to evolve one. i thought the EXP wasn't bad but maybe that's because i tried skipping a lot of NPC trainers and rotated my mons frequently but like i said before in another post the player should still have the option to turn it off
