Nobody said Gamefreak is the done bugtesting. Bugtesting on Pokemon games since the very first one has always been done by Nintendo themselves.

No. They doubled down on it releasing at the end of June in the last Nintendo Direct. Given they foresaw nothing to stop it releasing in the next two months by then (and with no further updates to the contrary since), it's pretty much looking as if it's going to launch as planned. That it's not a physical release too helps. Lockdowns don't apply when it's a digital purchase.

This. AC was the last big announced game for Ninty on the horizon that required a physical release. Everything will be either postponed or digital only until the crisis is over, and since it’s just DLC they’ll be fine
