I still dont get why Victreebel is OU. Golem I get falling because he just a worse Rhydon with a little more speed but I dont understand why Victreebel's attack has gain popularity. Exeggutor is clearly better than him plus he is weak to psychic and neutral to ground.

I play a lot of gen1 OU: while Victreebel and Exeggutor are both grass types that can run Sleep Powder, they usually have completely different roles on a team.

Exeggutor:
>walls Reflect Alakazam and can 3HKO it with double-edge
>absorbs paralysis extremely well
>has very well-distributed stats for gen1
>can explode

Victreebel:
>usually played as a late-game sweeper when everybody is paralyzed and asleep
>has Razor Leaf which has a 97% crit chance in gen1
>can set up with Swords Dance, then Body Slam/Hyper Beam everything
>is very often a win condition alongside Tauros being a physical attacker that can KO Rhydon

Mewtwo.
Now, granted, Mewtwo isn't bad. It's still Ubers and still belongs in Ubers.
But Mewtwo was the very best like no one ever was. Gen 1 Mewtwo was the strongest mon. Absurd stats, Amnesia giving it the equivalent to 2 calm minds in one turn, no weaknesses other than bug, which was shit.
Mewtwo started so high that even becoming 2nd best is a gargantuan fall from grace. And now it's just kinda okay in Ubers.
