I haven't played a Pokemon game since Emerald. Is Sword and Shield good? What does it have for postgame or replayability?

They’re decent. Post game is a short side quest to get the box art, tournament with the Gym Leaders, and a few “final” battles with your rivals and Game Freak employees. Not much but it’s there.

They are great and streamlined games that make the Pokemon gameplay loop the most pleasurable it has been yet, you'll have a great time raising monsters and bringing them to ranked. If you don't buy the DLC the post-game still has some fun things like the Battle Tower, Champion Cup rematches and a short story segment where you get the wolf of your version, which are fun diversions as you build your team to bring them to online battling with other players.

Not much. You have a really short story where you do a few Max Raid battles, fight some awful antagonists (not as bad as the antagonist of the main game; that one if honestly the worst in the entire series), and then catch the game's associated Legendary. There's also the Battle Tower, which is severely gimped compared to previous installments.

If you hate yourself. Nu-Pokemon is absolutely horrid for repeat playthroughs due to the constant railroading, hand holding, and stopping the player every 5 steps.

Unless you're going for something super specific like minimum IVs or shininess you can literally use the first Pokemon you hatch now. The only reason to inject is laziness by people who don't actually want to play the game.

Fuck these dumb retards op, they're gonna look so foolish in retrospect. The game + dlc is 100% worth (if you already own a switch; it's not worth buying a switch over). The Crown Tundra is gonna have 19-21 static legends depending on Necrozma and Cosmog/Solgaleo/Lunala. There may even be more if the Unova legendaries are hidden away in there but that's doubtful.

I think it really fleshed out the stadium idea and what they were intended to be. Also the gym leaders being celebrities makes sense. Pokémon revolves around Pokémon. The anime finally came into the game.

FUCK THAT PLACE. I'm currently trying to do it, and the battles being random basically makes it RNG hell. No matter what I pick to start with, they instantly start with something resistant to my pokemon, and super effective against my pokemon. I keep restarting and nothing changes.

It's 6.5/10 for me if i'm honest.
7/10 or higher if the Isle of Armor was part of the game instead DLC.
Can't tell With CT since it ain't out yet,but if it WAS out and instead part of the game and not DLC,the game would be 8/10 hype alone with CT.
I was enjoying myself halfway after i defeated Bea,it probably would've bumped it to an 7.5,but got really bored and the story was went way too quick after that.
$60 fucking dollars for this shit fucking shit,SIXTY-FUCKING-DOLLARS!!
This is me judging the game without bringing dexcut or anything into, but i am happy Blaziken is coming back in CT. Not everyone has their best bro in the game yet and it's really sad. The game shoulda been so much fucking more for a full price Pokemon game and this is the fucking shit we get?
