a cobra with a scary face is pretty fitting for dark, considering a panda with a grumpy face and a cute little squid are dark types at this point

I honestly prefer the pure poison typing, it feel like Poison/Dark is pretty overdone and is just thought of as a bandaid for pure poison types. Having a fairy resist is nice too. The dark typing doesn't change the fact that Arbok's stats are pretty trash same with movepool

This plus a buff to its defenses is all it really needs. Arbok has two great abilities and a great move pool, it’s main problem is that it’s so slow and frail that it always faints before it can do anything.

Jokes aside, I would probably make it bulkier (maybe 500 BST would be enough. Make Ekans evolve level 26) and give it Moxie. Maybe also take 10 points from it's Sp Atk and put it into it's Spd

If we are going for 500 I would give +20 Def +22 Sp. Def, if we're going for 490 (to keep it's BST the same as Weezing), give it +15/+17 to it's defenses
