Sandslash-A has been in a higher tier than Sandslash-K in both gen 7 and gen 8. So yes, the Ice/Steel version is more competitively viable.

These are both factually wrong. The problem with Arcanine is that it’s mediocre all around, with nothing it does particularly well. It can’t even use its bulk to an advantage because its only healing is (pfft) morning sun.
