Sad but true. She basically did what Bianca did. No matter how hard both tried to catch up and train, both couldn't' do it. So they turn towards Pokémon research to contribute their support. This is just a sad truth in Pokémon. No everyone can be the best or is cut out to be a trainer, even though the series says to keep chasing after your dreams/goals.
