>>45840198Oh, and if you thought about abusing dynamax to temporarily make it bulkier, forget it.
If you dynamax frosmoth, you will indeed be able to beat many more pokemon matchups. But not likely sweep. If you dynamax frosmoth, and the opponent has a fire type, a steel type, or just anything that with fire/rock coverage, they will mostly be able to OHKO a dynamaxed frosmoth at full health, or just beat it without dynamaxing. So if you dynamax frosmoth, after killing something, most of the time you wont be able to use the other dynamax turns, because you will just be forced to switch or it will die.
As a mechanic than can only be used once in a battle, using it on frosmoth over any of the other 5 pokemon in your team will always be a worse option in most circumstances.
Frosmoth is not useful against raihan, flygon outspeeds and kills with steel wing, and the snake has fire fang
Frosmoth is not useful against chairman rose
Frosmoth is not useful against eternatus, who has fire coverage
Frosmoth is not useful against against leon, unless you chose inteleon
Frosmoth can kill mostly grass and some ground types (must be slower or not have rock/fire moves), but probably at least one other pokemon in your team wil be better at beating them.
If you really really really liked it and wanted to use it without wasting time grinding, you'd have to build a team around it, or its teammates would always outshine it and be more useful. And you should also get one with a hidden ability mid game through pkhex or trading, it can be more useful if its not restricted to the end of the game.
