That's not necessarily bad, except for the fact that gamefreak thinks kids are idiots that need their hands held. They don't. EVERYONE would benefit from the games posing more of a challenge. Everyone would benefit from less dialogue. Minecraft has been the most popular game among kids for a long time, and they just plop you down in the middle of the wilderness with zero instructions. Kids like that kind of freedom.
