How does it feel knowing that GF will not only choose Lucas/Dawn's DP designs over their Platinum designs for the Sinnoh Remakes, but will also make them look worse than the originals?

They'll give them the original outfits as default, but the Platinum ones once they reach colder regions.

The DP outfits are better than Platinums but it does suck they won't be as good as DP's design wise in the remake

After Gen VI, I don't have any expectations of gf doing the right thing anyway, yet they still managed to disappoint me, so I wouldn't be surprised if they make them worse.

I prefer the lighter colours on the DP Lucas sprite specifically, the platinum one had a less depressing colour scheme it’d be much better

i think they’ll have the colorscheme of their original designs, but have the overall wintery look of the platinum outfits, since sinnoh is supposed to BE the “cold” region. Kinda like how ORAS gave us RS brendan and may with emerald outfits mixed in due to the tropical weather n shit

Honestly the one thing they should've done which should've been done in ORAS was have new redesigned protagonists except have a clothing option to choose between the new redesign, DP design, and Platinum designs.
I prefer Dawn's original design but prefer Luca's Platinum design. Who knows, Game Freak's new designs might be even better than the originals.

dawn’s DP design is coomer bait, so they’re obviously gonna keep influenced based off of it instead. Masters, her kotobukiya figure, her card don’t use her platinum design at ALL, because she covers more skin than she should. coomers run the franchise, why do you think all the male protags are bland as shit and all the girls are cuter? They don’t design girl protags for girls to play as, they design them for men who want to stare at them

they both look bad. I've always been a big fan of Gen 1 and 2 art style, where things had a bit more attitude. Gen 3 onward always felt like 'well, can't have anyone frown, because then people won't know it's a kids game!'
