I feel like if they got a bunch of letters from people asking for the same thing, they'd do it.
The issue is they don't see us, sun and moon showed me that they want to make a fun game, they want to try, at least that is my opinion. sw/sh is a result of GF looking in the wrong place, twitter, youtube and shit like that, for what is "popular" about their games/other games, and trying to apply it. That's why they take out nice things sometimes, parents of dumb kids or the kids themselves complain, but they hear it, they don't hear us, because we exist here, in this degenerate place.
For example, GO became popular, and all those groups I mentioned consistently talked about kanto and nostalgia, so they made LGPE. Was it nostalgia bait? yes, that's what they thought people wanted.
