The worst parts about the Ashnime is that it has so many episodes that are focused on random filler characters in towns that aren't in the fucking game (none of this contributing to world building). The worst part about Origins isn't just the Chariwank it's also the fact that it was so SHORT. And all of the exciting shit was put into montages. Origins episode one and two are golden while the rest are just uninteresting bullshit. The manga actually knows what it's doing (for the most part). Go in the general direction of the games, dedicate chapters mostly to exploring, battling or showing of pokemon and don't skip the fun shit.
