Whatever happens to the flame on Quilava’s butt upon evolving? Like, I understand the transition from the head flame to Typhlosion’s fire scarf but the butt flame just straight up disappears and no one brings it up. Do the fire glands just stop working? Is Typhlosion just constipated? whats the fucking deal dude

I feel like Bayleef is a little more forgiving because Meganium adds a lot to the line, I’d rather have a stamen than just a bigger leaf. Croconaw is for the better because I’d kill myself if Feraligatr was a caveman jobmon. Typhlosion just straight up loses a key trait and does nothing to build off of it and as a result it’s a very jarring mon to look at.

I thought it was weird that the line has less overall flame space as it grow up

Typhlosion having flames only around its neck makes sense because its supposed to resemble a volcano in its Sugimori pose. Imagine its body was rock and its head was made of lava.
Still even as a Typhlosion fan, I feel they could have added a bit more details to it.
