Ok RPG-Progression-stans, I concede that some Pokemon need to be weaker than other. But how does this work with the starters? In a competently balanced game, they would be reasonably close to each other in terms of viability. What value does it add to the series for some starters to be worthless when Masuda’s favorites get to be broken?
