I think Joe might be right, we only got Sinnoh demake and Sinnoh botw copycat so we didn't really got real sinnoh remake, that why Joe keep asking for it.

Its a port not a remake. Straight up port with sprites changed to chibi models, and a new lighting system with new textures. If it was a remake it'd use SwSh engine. This is just virtual console with a few extra steps.

The engine BDSP is a fork from thwe LGPE-SWSh engine, whhich was also built from groundup. The battles are also fully 3D

It would be like if they did not have FRLG up the standards they had RS on or even HGSS. Hell its like if they made a grid system for ORAS and made them look like GBA sprites instead of making it like the standard set with XY.
