Normal/Flying should be there instead. Scyther and Butterfree are the only Bug/Flying types in the whole games.

Still two too many. Butterfree could easily be Bug/Psychic. Arguably, no Bug/Flying-Types should've existed. Scyther could easily pass as a Bug/Fighting or even pure-Bug Type

There is nothing Psychic about Butterfree. It's OK for Pokemon to have typings that aren't fully optimal. It's only bad when the typing doesn't fit, or when the typing is overdone and redundant.

Same reason most grass pokemon are poison, ice pokemon are water or most rock pokemon are ground.
Design-wise, that's what they are.

I think separating nidoking from nidoqueen would be neat, also poison/dragon is cool

it might make more sense for nidoking to be fighting rather than dragon, since its an earlier mon, but i think dark fits marrowak slightly better than ghost i cant really visualize it being immune to normal type
