Overworld encounters are neat, but I can easy flop between both, nether is worthy of being brought more because of that, honestly LGPE feels really odd unless it's cave with overworld encounters because it's using RBY design, if you want to make a 3D pokemon how about using those 3 Dimensions to make something actually interesting and couldn't be done on GB, fucking even yokai watch, SM/USUM knew this, they dropped the ball really fucking hard when they could have made the Ideal Kanto, the most fleshed out version of Kanto.
