I wouldn't be so disappointed in Swish if they had just gotten Creatures Inc. to work on the models and animations. Clearly, these folks know what they're doing(assuming they're not outsourcing).

Didnt they make the XY models? I think GF only chrunched shadows for SwSh artstyle change.

Last I checked, that was Gamefreak's job. And the reason I think this is literally BECAUSE of Pokedex 3D(Pro). Wouldn't they just hand over these models had they worked on XY? Especially since it came BEFORE XY released.

Creatures Inc. being a part of TCP means that Gamefreak wasn't going to see that cut of the profits anyways.

I know Gamefreak was stupid but did Nintendo nor Creatures Inc. go "hey we have the Pokemon prior to this new generation in perfectly serviceable format, why not use these? They even have animations! It'll save us a lot of time making them and your game will look fine."
