Why do all romhacks of these games make all 493 Pokémon available to catch? I just want to play the vanilla game but harder

thats fair. I know drayano is pretty good about messaging people back about ideas, so if you messaged him asking for this I'm sure he'd reply. Since Savred Gold/Storm Silver v2 is still in development it could be doable

Since you can't trade/transfer between romachks games (there for some romhacks I think, but it's very tedious) and there is no way to obtain multiple starters/exclusives, if people wanna complete a Pokédex in these romhacks they have to make everything catchable. Hope that helps.

Honestly there's probably a balance to be had by keeping the base list of Pokemon about the same with a few tweaks, then just adding more after beating the Elite Four to also allow people to have the full Pokedex. But I'd imagine just changing the base routes is probably easier to program or something.
