I don't know what I hated more. Z-Moves or Gigantimax. Mega Evolution was always superior. They had a good concept. Why did they take that away? I'm sorry but I'm high right now and I'm so fucking mad over this. Mega Evolution was cool, fun, yeah some of the designs suck but it still felt like it was trying! and now, look at that shit.

Z-Moves were fun. The animations were cool. I liked Primarina's Oceanic Operetta especially. But yeah, I wouldn't mind if they Z-moves and Gigantamax were removed whereas Megas should've become a staple since adding Megas and removing them makes it so that some Pokemon who need an evolution like Mawile and Lopunny will never get an actual evolution. They're basically fucked now.

So that they don't take attention away from whatever new form CHARIZARD gets in the new gens.
Also, if they kept Megas, people would expect that the starters who were robbed would get them eventually, better scrap Megas entirely to crush their dreams so that they learn their place.

We're talking about Lopunny and Mawile here, not Charizard, Mewtwo, or Meowth. GF would never give them an alternate evolution. They're screwed along with Megas.

And, you know, the fact Sugi got artist's block at being told to evolve what was in his mind finished and complete designs (ended up getting a mental block as he couldn't see a way to make a M-Flygon, it was too perfect to him).

Megas are a great concept, but they really should've put more thought into what Pokemon gets them.
Giving mega forms to already OP Pokemon is awful.

or do you mean the short vfx sequence that plays while your pokémon model stays stiff as a rock in an event in which it should move? Face it, z-moves are shit and they add nothing. "Cooler" and stronger moves could just be regular moves with 1pp or some shit like that. As a gimmick they're worthless and the Alola games are easy enough without em except Necrozma, fuck that bitch of a difficulty spike
